The product features a slender, integral tubing with stainless steel wire reinforcement and a hollow core that can accommodate an introducer guidewire.
■ The inferior vena cava and right atrium are accessed via the femoral vein. This approach is primarily used for venous blood drainage during minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
■ Venous blood drainage for ECMO can be achieved via percutaneous catheterization.
